The Children’s Museum of Cleveland (CMC) is hosting its annual benefit on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 6:00 pm at the Museum. At 8:00pm Michael Jackson Celebrity Impersonator 3 Legends (contact 630-631-8581for booking) will take the stage. The benefit’s honorary co-chairs are Fred McLeod, announcer for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Beth McLeod from the 19 Action News Weather Team. The event will include delicious food, an open bar and a chance to experience everything the Museum has to offer first-hand. The CMC has nurtured three generations of Greater Cleveland’s young children and families in discovering the world and learning through play.

The Museum has welcomed an average of over 100,000 guests annually for the last five years! Interactive exhibits, innovative programs and exciting events are offered seven days a week. The CMC has several blue ribbon partners such as University Hospitals and Cleveland Metropolitan School District in addressing early childhood needs in obesity prevention and Invest in Children in designing its most recent traveling exhibit, I Feel. Beginning this summer, CMC will partner with The Cuyahoga County Fatherhood Initiative to offer a year-long series of programs for all fathers and their families. The Museum has been praised as an efficient and effective organization that is able to turn on a dime, maintains a balanced budget and attracts families from all over Northeast Ohio.

The proceeds for the benefit will go toward general operating costs so that the CMC can continue to impact families in the museum and the community.
