Bring your kids, find the nieces, nephews, and grandchildren to join us in the 2014 American Fest hosted by the Town Hall President Larry Dominick. The activities are endless for Chicagoland residents, family, and friends that will take place at 34th and Laramie. Just take a look at some of these activities http://issuu.com/suburbanfocus/docs/sf_mayjune2014web/29?e=1295120/7627783.
The biggest celebration of the festival will be held from 5pm -10pm on June 27th, June 28th, and June 29th. Ask personnel to direct you to the ‘children’s stage’ as the number one Michael Jackson Impersonator 3 Legends and 1st Place winner of the Michael Jackson Tribute Contest held onstage after the Memorial of the late Pop star will hit the stage with his crowd raising performance at 6:30pm for both Friday June 27th and again on Saturday June 28th of the event featuring kids favorites’ such as The Love you Save/ABC/I want you back/Billie Jean and more. Autographs and pictures with the King of Pop will be available for both kids and adults. Also former Chicago Blackhawks payer and current commentator for NHL on NBC, NHL on NBC Sports Network, and Chicago Blackhawks games on Comcast Sportsnet Chicago and WGN-TV Eddie Olczyk will be on hand June 29th Sunday 1pm-3pm to sign autographs. And you want to know something else? We even got our hands on “the Golden Jet”, Hockey Hall of famer who helped spur the Chicago Blackhawks to 3 Stanley Cups, will make his appearance between 3pm-5pm Sunday June 29th. Amidst all the good food, star power, and entertainment what would an American Fest be without fireworks to cap everything off so close to the 4th? So yes on Sunday and final day of this event June 29th fireworks will take place beginning at 10pm.
So don’t hog the fun bring your family and bring your cameras because an event that is free, fun, and this exciting only comes around well… once a year. So we hope to see you then!
