Behind the MJ3 Tribute

Where lineage is home
Rooted in Musical Legacy

This is the history of MJ3.

Emerging from a foundation converging in layers: First talent show victory on the Theodore Roosevelt High School stage, born in Gary, Indiana, the youngest of nine. MJ3 — organic realism.

MJ3 childhood archival portrait from Gary, Indiana

Green Bay stands as the oldest settlement in Wisconsin. MJ3 stands at 5'10"—one inch from Michael's stature. A performer delivering foundational tribute artistry.

Five characteristics anchor the MJ3 tribute: the ease of Fred Astaire, the lift of the Nicholas Brothers, the torque of James Brown, the flash of Jackie Wilson, and the synthesis Michael Jackson distilled from them all.

Realizations

“We booked ‘Michael’ for a get together I do at our house every year. We have a stage delivered with lights and the works and this is the best show we’ve had! My friends are still texting me days later asking where we found him.”

Katherine P., De Pere

“The Jackie Wilson part completely blew everyone away! Hitting those splits had everyone shook! lol”

Marcus R., Allouez

“He made our wedding reception feel like were watching Michael at a stadium, overseas! Plus he was humble and gracious to the youngest of the young and the most elderly of our family! Thank you for bringing MJ3 magic to our wedding!!”

Sarah F., Howard

“We initially was going to book MJ for a surprise show, but getting the full performance package was the best decision we made because the crowd was worked up into a frenzy like the real Michael!”

David M., Bellevue

Can the MJ3 performance structure adapt to a tightly programmed gala itinerary?
The tribute showcase can be performed as a high-impact, 15-minute surprise opening segment to kick off an awards gala, a definitive centerpiece performance following dinner, or divided into distinct multi-era sets that punctuate an evening. Performance times and additional sets are coordinated in advance.
How are costume changes managed at fast-paced corporate galas in Green Bay?
For signature eras from Smooth Criminal, Billie Jean etc.—the show requires a private, secure changing area or dressing room close to the performance area. This allows for wardrobe transitions behind the scenes that present a complete stage production experience.
